Simply email or give us a call and we’ll arrange to visit briefly and confidentially with you by phone. If we agree that we can add value to your situation, we’ll schedule an initial meeting. The purpose of the initial, complementary meeting is for us to learn in more detail how we can improve upon your existing planning. In addition, it is an opportunity for you to learn more about us and for us to determine if we are a good mutual fit.
Jody Duncan, CFP®
Jody provides independent, fee-based portfolio management and individualized financial planning to a select clientele. Families and small business owners in and around the Portland area turn to Jody for her keen observations and professional advice. While Jody is well versed in all aspects of personal financial planning and investment management, she has a special connection with women in transition. Women who find themselves in the position of being responsible for their own financial security appreciate Jody’s caring, unhurried nature, financial partnership and professional approach. She has developed a process that identifies the immediate areas of concern and necessity. Jody guides transitioning clients, helping them make good decisions, when they are ready and the time is right.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Jody has completed a rigorous course of education, met the exacting experience and continuing education requirements set forth by the CFP® Board, and continues to meet their ethics and continuing education requirements. Jody received her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from California State University in Northridge, California, in 1991 and a Masters degree in Applied Information Management from The University of Oregon in 1997. She made the transition to financial planning in 1996 when she saw the difference she could make in people’s lives.
When she’s not helping people with their financial decisions and dreams, Jody enjoys spending time taking long walks around Portland’s beautiful local parks.
